I have uninstalled this device but Device Manager keeps picking it up as new hardware. Can you confirm the content of the djsvs. Why have the people in the know not just simply created the driver and the uploaded it, so that it became easily available to everyone who requires it. For your convenience, I have list the related link as followed. Go to device manager and update the driver with the just wiindows one.
OMG – I also tried this – after evenutally find the drivers online as stated above – this worked me as well and the SCSI controller installed without any issue and I can now see my scsi drives thank you so much for the pointer.
For some reason, that driver was dropped from the in-box drivers in Windows 7.
Can anyone force windows 7 X64 to accept Adaptec AHA SCSI card?
Adaptec had 64 bit drivers for server and xp X64 and can run in emulation mode using aic78xx. Good Luck and thanks to the person who found this fix. I can now clear the disks on my old SCSI servers so they can be donated. Iwndows had a driver that worked in Windows 7×64 and I am now using it in Windows 10 x64, after aadptec out how to turn-off the Install Warning, because unlike earlier versions, Windows 10 is not a simple click of ignore.
