When rebooting router and re starting each computer i checked the event log and could see that when the nic starts on all the other computers it notes that they are half duplex, but the event log on the computer that is randomly dropping network connection, it registers full duplex.
I use solid copper cat 6 wire and three piece cat 6 connectors: I searched these forums and found an old dead thread from someone with the same issues I’d really appreciate any suggestions.
New 18 Oct 9. My eye problems have recently increased and I’m having difficult reading posts. I am guessing you checked this already, but can’t hurt to post the info in case not. Perhaps another machine on the network is set to mbps, thus defaulting your router to work at this speed also? Network link is still dropping randomly.
If I get netxtrme right, you have 4 computers connected to the router and the other one is connecting through the Nerxtreme.
