There is a workaround for this. Apple has a huge amount of leverage due to their total control over the platform. Not tested This laptop does not have a Webcam – enterprise jmciron.

I also contacted Apple support. The message, regarding the blocked Vmware extension is still displayed. What version of VMWare Fusion are you running? I’m not going to apologize for Apple or even recommend High Sierra. Check System Profiler before doing anything silly just to make sure your iMac doesn’t require any of the listed extensions.
So I’m not sure what happened with my first clean install, but the second fixed everything. I also did a restore of High Sierra, have uninstalled VMware Oct 5, 6: Building a Sandy Bridge CustoMac: It isn’t a great workaround, security-wise, but it does get you back to the behavior of macOS Or can it be deleted? I know it’s official because it’s a standard part of the OS X installation, and is present on the system in front of me right now.
I’m still running Sierra on my primary machine and I intend to continue doing that until June, at least. It’s up to you if you want to delete them, I wouldn’t bother as they take up minimal space. Incredible really that a this bug was not fixed before release, and b the senior tech people couldn’t fix it for you.
