I downloaded a set of new patches ncluding BIOS driver from Lenovo, still the same problem is ocurring. I recently purchased a Gateway NVu brand new notebook.
I followed your advice and uninstalled, downloaded the drivers from Gateway, and reinstalled the Intel Management Engine Components and the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. When I do a Google search I do find others reporting the same thing with no solution. No registered users and 6 guests. I figure it is safer to stick to drivers provided by Gateway.
