Sign in to vote. I used the on-screen keyboard to press the function key, then simply pressed the wireless key on my keyboard. There is no Switch to turn it on, and the Fn Key that is supposed to turn it on did not work F2. Why Windows can’t turn the module on when Ubuntu can? Does the wireless adapter was installed correctly? If you want to turn it off all the time, please read your user manual about how to go into the system BIOS and dasabling the WiFi hardware.
